Your escape to the countryside begins as you turn off High Lane, signposted for Sutherland only & PeteRig
Cross the little local ford and continue onto the forestry track. From this point, you’ll really feel as though you’re leaving the everyday behind and heading into the peace and tranquillity of the forest.
Follow the forestry track for around 800 yards, enjoying the beautiful woodland surroundings along the way. Turn right and follow the track as it winds its way up the hill.
Continue until you reach the entrance for Sutherland Lodge and Sutherland Lodge Cottage. Turn in here and follow the drive, where you’ll soon arrive at Forest View Cropton.
